Paraguay: Where Nazis & Freaks Go To Die

-tartuffe: October 23, 2006

Seems George W. Bush has purchased 98,840 acres in Paraguay, near the Bolivian/Brazilian border outside the town of Chaco.

Nixon Hanging with Moon

On top of this, Korean cult leader, self-appointed "Messiah", and long-time Republican donor, the "Reverend" Sun Myung Moon bought 1,482,600 acres right next door. Rev. Moon is of course also the founder of the rightwing rag, the Washington Times. Indeed, Moon met George H.W. Bush in 1996, in Buenos Aires no less, during an extended trip through South America, and afterwards they traveled to Uruguay together. During that dinner, Bush Sr. actually credited this loon with [no kidding] "Bringing sanity back to Washington." While in Uruguay, Bush joined Moon in inaugurating a "seminary" in Montevideo, to train 4,200 young Japanese women to spread the word of the Unification Church/Cult throughout Latin America.

Additionally, Rumsfeld himself took some time away from his home on Mount Misery to secretly visit the Bush compound and accompanying airbase in 2005.

When you combine this freak show with the Paraguayan Senate's decision to “grant U.S. troops immunity from national and International Criminal Court (ICC) jurisdiction" the inescapable conclusion is that Mr. Bush is planning an escape route should someone finally decide to hold him accountable for war crimes, or any of the other myriad offenses he's known to have committed while illegally in office since the 2000 coup.

And immediately following the Paraguayan Senate's grant of immunity, 500 heavily armed U.S. Special Forces and contractors [Read: mercs] arrived along with considerable military equipment at the Mariscal Estigarribia air base near the new Bush "ranch". The airfield can handle B-52 bombers and Galaxy C-5 cargo planes. It also sports a huge radar system, hangers, and can house up to 16,000 troops. Indeed the air base is larger than the international airport at the capital city, Asuncion.

Moreover, the land sits in a hugely strategic point on the South American continent, on top of one of the world's largest fresh-water aquifers. Seems BushCo. is positioning itself for the Water Wars of the future.

Dubya's always thinkin' ahead. He's a thinker!
